CA Sales, RCL Foods, Santam and Sea Harvest all released solid numbers. Bidvest, Bell Equipment and Brimstone are struggling to various degrees. Sun International posted a resilient set of numbers. Blue Label has given more details on the Cell C restructure.

We are now firmly in earnings season, with numbers from Harmony, Impala Platinum, KAP, Libstar, Rainbow Chicken, Sibanye, South32, STADIO, Trellidor and Truworths. Important updates also came in from Altron, Equites Property Fund and Metrofile.

There's no sign of recovery in the Aspen share price. Conversely, Blue Label just keeps aiming for the stars. Exxaro, Spur, Octodec and WBHO all had positive stories. Curro is suffering with a slow and steady decline in numbers.

A busy day for mining saw results come in for BHP, along with the news of Anglo American laughing off the stealmaking coal disposal to Peabody and Harmony Gold getting approval for the copper deal in Australia. Dipula is buying Protea Gardens Mall and several other properties. Deneb is offloading a property.

The MAS board has confirmed that the Prime Kapital bid is legally valid. Accelerate Property Fund is a complex speculative play. Thungela's earnings have plummeted. The Assura - Primary Health offer is in its final stages. ASP Isotopes will list later this month.

AECI has announced a few asset disposals that the market loved, but they've also hinted at further acquisitions as well. Redefine is selling Rosebank Corner.

AngloGold to acquire Augusta Gold in the US. Richemont's sales are in the green, but the strong euro is hurting them. Coronation's AUM was boosted by market prices. Mpact's profits are expected to move sharply lower.
