Sasol closed 6% lower after a production update and trading statement. Adcock Ingram rallied after a cautionary. Reinet's NAV moved lower as expected. MAS has called the meeting that was demanded by institutional shareholders.

Anglo American released an ugly set of numbers. Adcock Ingram, AECI, Barloworld and Mondi aren't exactly shooting the lights out either. Blue Label Telecoms reported flat earnings. Gold Fields should've had a stronger year. Look out for Equites, Hulamin and Tiger Brands as well.

Lesaka has closed the all-important Adumo deal. Powerfleet closed the Fleet Complete deal. Clientele is considering an acquisition. Brimstone has sold its STADIO shares. Delta is selling two properties.

Adcock Ingram's share repurchases have boosted HEPS. Cashbuild hopefully has the worst behind it now. Powerfleet has released an earnings update. Sibanye has funded the Keliber lithium project.

Lesaka is scaling. Pan African Resources loves higher gold prices. enX, KAL, RFG and Sappi all released numbers, as did MTN Uganda.

On a busy day of news, we saw important numbers come through in the mining and retail sectors, along with food service giant Bidcorp and property stalwart Stor-Age.

There's a positive undertone to this episode, with decent results from Adcock Ingram and really strong numbers from Spur, Bidvest, Bidcorp and NEPI Rockcastle. The mining houses can't say the same.
