Pan African Resources and Naspers/Prosus have both been winners for me this year, with latest numbers showing why. MultiChoice is in much pain. Assura is going ahead with the KKR/Stonepeak offer, not the Primary Health Properties merger.

Richemont released numbers, as did Pepkor at the other end of the retail spectrum.. Blue Label could list Cell C separately. Collins Property Group, MAS, NEPI Rockcastle and Newpark all had property sector news, in addition to Primary Health upping its play for Assura. Look out for Finbond, Nampak, Nutun and Tiger Brands as well.

4Sight has done a clever B-BBEE deal. Dipula Properties achieved modest growth. enX misses loadshedding. Alphamin's detailed Q1 financials are available. Europa Metals looks set to be wound up.

AngloGold's profits are much higher and Sibanye is smiling as well. The offer for Barloworld needs more acceptances. Mantengu Mining has gone nuclear on share manipulation allegations. Investec's UK business dragged down the group numbers. Shaftesbury is selling part of its Covent Garden stake. Momentum had an exceptional period. Choppies is doing well and South Ocean Holdings certainly isn't.

There's a new sheriff in town at Absa - and it's Standard Bank's loss! MTN's gap between constant currency and reported earnings is still huge. RFG had trouble with pineapples. Hulamin had a poor year. Thungela released its 2024 results.
