Pan African Resources is quite literally printing cash at the moment. At the other end of the spectrum, Cashbuild has painted a worrying picture about our economy. At Spear REIT, the focus on the Western Cape continues to pay dividends - literally.

Ghost Bites (Famous Brands | Quilter | Salungano | Vunani)

Famous Brands is up at group level, but the performance remains far too reliant on the manufacturing side of the business. Quilter's net inflows continue. Vunani has positive momentum. Salungano signed a coal supply agreement with Eskom.

Ghost Bites (Astoria | Collins Property | Glencore | Jubilee Metals | Quilter | Sirius Real Estate)

Glencore needs a big second half. Sirius Real Estate has done more deals, as has Collins Property. Quilter's dividend has grown much faster than earnings. Jubilee Metals guides for a big 2026 in copper. Astoria's NAV took a significant knock from diamonds.

Ghost Bites (Alphamin | Capitec | Hudaco | Reinet)

Reinet is selling Pension Insurance Corporation. It's too easy for Hudaco to blame the macro conditions. Alphamin had a much better quarter. Capitec's credit rating comes with a positive story about South Africa.

GHOST BITES (Anglo American | Anglo American Platinum | aReit | Cashbuild)

Anglo American is ready to demerge Anglo American Platinum. Cashbuild has pulled the trigger on the acquisition of a few hardware stores. aReit has suffered large impairments.

GHOST BITES (AngloGold | British American Tobacco | Bytes | Karooooo | Tsogo Sun – HCI)

AngloGold's acquisition of Centamin is making progress. Bytes and Karooooo are growing strongly. British American Tobacco is having an investor day. Tsogo buys a property from HCI.

Ghost Bites (Castleview | Crookes Brothers | Grindrod | Lighthouse | Marshall Monteagle | Nampak | Nictus | PBT Group | Resilient | SA...

Nampak's continuing operations are profitable. Resilient, Lighthouse, Castleview and SA Corporate gave property updates. PBT Group has some margin pressure. Crookes looks much better. There's news from Grindrod, Marshall Monteagle and Nictus as well, along with loads of Little Bites.
