Capitec remains South Africa's most impressive corporate story. At literally the opposite end of the spectrum, we find SPAR with poor growth and clearly no real idea how to fix it. Barloworld has waived the COMESA condition and the offer is now closing this month.

Momentum released excellent numbers, although they do have metrics that need work. Metrofile shareholders finally received an offer. Choppies is managing some growth in its core business.
