Aspen, MTN Ghana, PPC, RCL Foods and Santam all had particularly good stories to tell, with Clientele, JSE and MAS in the green as well. Bidvest was a mixed bag in 2024. Italtile pulled off a resilient performance in the end. AfroCentric released very poor numbers, with Metrofile and Mustek also deep in the red.

Capitec keeps on pumping. Truworths released awful local numbers. Nampak achieved another turnaround milestone. Spar has gotten rid of Poland at last. Gemfields desperately needs things to improve.

Aspen is bringing Eli Lilly's Ozempic competitor to the SA market. Metair is getting even less from the Mutlu disposal than we thought. Rex Trueform is buying a software group at a huge multiple. Sanlam unlocked billions from Allianz. Sasfin is delisting this month.
