Assura shareholders aren't exactly rushing to accept the Primary Health Properties offer, with Primary Health releasing a trading update to try and drive more acceptances. South32 is getting rid of the nickel mine in Colombia.

Lewis released incredible numbers and Adcorp looks stronger too. Spar is mostly retreating from Europe. The HCI stable (including Deneb, eMedia, Frontier and mothership HCI) released updates. Look out for AME, AYO, Delta Property, Old Mutual and Sea Harvest as well.

Richemont released numbers, as did Pepkor at the other end of the retail spectrum.. Blue Label could list Cell C separately. Collins Property Group, MAS, NEPI Rockcastle and Newpark all had property sector news, in addition to Primary Health upping its play for Assura. Look out for Finbond, Nampak, Nutun and Tiger Brands as well.

AngloGold's profits are much higher and Sibanye is smiling as well. The offer for Barloworld needs more acceptances. Mantengu Mining has gone nuclear on share manipulation allegations. Woolworths released really disappointing numbers. Curro has a demand problem, but earnings are up for now. Attacq, Quilter, Spur and STADIO all had strong stories to tell. Trellidor and Growthpoint are on the up. Cashbuild and Old Mutual were less exciting. Emira sold a property portfolio.
