Ghost Bites (Accelerate Property Fund | Deneb | Stefanutti Stocks)

In a day of updates from more unusual names on the JSE, we saw Deneb and Stefanutti Stocks with highly encouraging trading statements. Accelerate Property Fund has suffered a setback on its turnaround journey.

Ghost Bites (Fairvest | Hulamin | Impala Platinum | Mondi)

Fairvest's capital raise made me wonder about the property cycle. Mondi is really struggling at the moment. Impala Platinum's latest quarter looked decent. Hulamin is selling the extrusions business.

Ghost Bites (Aimia | Schroder European Real Estate | Tharisa)

Aimia's management letter is a great opportunity to learn about the JSE's new kid on the block. Schroder European Real Estate's valuation is still going the wrong way. Tharisa has begun the underground mining transition.

Ghost Bites (Accelerate Property Fund | MTN | Reinet)

Accelerate Property Fund is making a lot of progress with Fourways Mall, but there are other headaches. Reinet is receiving a massive war chest from the Pension Insurance Corp disposal. MTN has beefed up the board.

Ghost Bites (Hulamin | Labat Africa | Premier | The Foschini Group | York Timber)

Premier is the star of the show. The Foschini Group's trading statement is worrying. Hulamin made losses in 2025. York Timber needs a new CEO. Labat Africa has done a deal with pricing that looks almost too good to be true.

Ghost Bites (Brait | Merafe | MTN Nigeria | Northam Platinum | Vukile Property Fund)

MTN Nigeria had a great year in 2025, but nothing comes close to the positive swing at Northam Platinum. Vukile is acquiring its first property in Madrid. Brait has sold R1 billion worth of shares in Premier. Merafe's 2025 numbers were horrible, as is to be expected when smelters were gathering dust.

Ghost Bites (CMH | Ethos Capital | HCI | Metair | SA Corporate Real Estate | Stefanutti Stocks | Valterra Platinum)

Metair's luck goes from bad to worse. Ethos Capital and HCI are busy with major deals, while Stefanutti Stocks has closed a disposal. SA Corporate Real Estate grew the distribution ahead of inflation. CMH repurchased over 7% of its shares. Valterra Platinum has an investment grade credit rating.

Ghost Bites (Accelerate Property Fund | Afrimat | Datatec | Finbond | Newpark REIT | SA Corporate Real Estate)

Afrimat has found some positive momentum. Accelerate released the critical Portside disposal circular. Datatec is flying. In other property news, Newpark REIT has updated earnings guidance and SA Corporate Real Estate is selling Bluff Towers. Finally, Finbond is profitable again.
