Alexforbes posts single-digit growth. Master Drilling has declared a dividend based on recent trading conditions. MC Mining is raising debt from two shareholders. Novus has a small earnings decline. Trematon found a buyer for Generation Education.

Telkom is brimming with confidence, while Bidcorp and British American Tobacco are executing on their global business strategies. Invicta had a flat period, with Burstone also not giving investors much to get excited about. Santova is a good business in a tough environment. Boxer is flying - and taking Pick n Pay with it. Vodacom has a great growth story at the moment. Prosus has sold more of the Delivery Hero stake. Look out for important numbers from Balwin, Raubex and Redefine Properties as well.

A busy day of earnings updates saw AVI, Mpact, Santam and Sun International give us a view on primarily the South African economy. Choppies has problems in Botswana. Harmony Gold gave an idea of earnings growth, while Pan African Resources is pressing forward in Australia. Southern Sun's deal for the Sandton properties has fallen through.

AB InBev's beer volumes are dropping, while British American Tobacco reminds us what an industry in decline looks like. South32 did well overall. Altron has flagged higher earnings. Brimstone has been boosted by Sea Harvest. The show is sadly over at Tongaat Hulett, with disastrous effects on the sugar value chain.

AngloGold is cashing in while the gold price is high. AVI, Premier Group and Santam are enjoying strong results. Stor-Age is dependable, but needs to be careful of the UK. Barloworld's earnings continue to drop. Copper 360's capital raise is imminent.
