Weekly corporate finance activity by SA exchange-listed companies

Weekly summary of corporate finance activity by South African exchange listed companies.

Ghost Bites (CA Sales | Premier | Stor-Age | Vukile Property)

Vukile is doing well everywhere, while property sector peer Stor-Age's strong local performance is being diluted by tough conditions in the UK. It's Chuckles all round for Premier investors thanks to the Millbake numbers. CA Sales is dipping into digital with a new acquisition.

Ghost Bites (Finbond | Gemfields | Hyprop | MAS | Orion Minerals | Quantum Foods | Reunert | Richemont | Trematon)

Richemont has welcomed a return to growth in Asia Pacific. MAS is making big changes - and Hyprop is happy to be on the other side of a deal for a property in Bulgaria. Finbond, Gemfields and Reunert all have positives and negatives to consider. Orion Minerals raised capital, while Trematon might sell Generation Education.

Ghost Bites (Equites Property Fund | KAL Group | Karooooo | NEPI Rockcastle | Reunert | Tharisa)

Equites Property Fund and NEPI Rockcastle are good reminders of the strength of REITs. KAL Group is one of the last "cheap" South African assets. Karooooo upset the market with its margins this year, but they are playing the long game. Reunert has been dragged down by its cables business. Tharisa's earnings have skyrocketed.

Ghost Bites (Dipula Properties | Equites Property Fund | Nutun | Universal Partners)

Dipula Properties shows us that there's money to be in made in property in the northern provinces of our country. Equites Property Fund is bringing capital home from the UK and investing it here. Nutun is still in a loss-making position. Universal Partners has a hit-and-miss portfolio.

Ghost Bites (Brait | Merafe | MTN Nigeria | Northam Platinum | Vukile Property Fund)

MTN Nigeria had a great year in 2025, but nothing comes close to the positive swing at Northam Platinum. Vukile is acquiring its first property in Madrid. Brait has sold R1 billion worth of shares in Premier. Merafe's 2025 numbers were horrible, as is to be expected when smelters were gathering dust.

Ghost Bites (ASP Isotopes | Dipula Properties | Exxaro | Glencore | Sibanye-Stillwater | Woolworths)

The Woolworths trading update shows that South Africa is way outperforming Australia (as usual). Dipula Properties is another helpful retail data point. Glencore and Sibanye-Stillwater released important mining updates. Exxaro is finalising its manganese deal. ASP Isotopes is making progress with Renergen's assets.

Ghost Bites (Alphamin | Sibanye-Stillwater)

Alphamin had a strong 2025 despite security challenges in the DRC. Sibanye-Stillwater has plotted the way forward for its lithium asset, with cautious optimism as the overall theme.
