A huge day of news saw the HCI stable (including Deneb, eMedia, Frontier Transport and Tsogo Sun) release results. Growthpoint released a quarterly update. Nampak is a great turnaround story, while Accelerate Property Fund is also coming right. Numbers came in from KAL, Life Healthcare and Novus as well, while Sirius Real Estate announced another acquisition.

Pepkor shows what is possible in retail. Santova paints a worrying picture around SA trade. Altron is a mixed bag, while Redefine looks solid and MTN Rwanda adds to the positivity around Africa. Oceana had a better than expected finish to the year. Ethos Capital is moving closer to a full value unlock. Exxaro sold a business.

Boxer and Vukile show us where the growth is in South Africa, while Emira is struggling with its property portfolio. CMH has done a great job in a changing automotive environment. PSG Financial Services is going from strength to strength. HCI keeps jumping through hoops for SACTWU. MC Mining made a gross loss - not something you'll see very often!

There's no sign of recovery in the Aspen share price. Conversely, Blue Label just keeps aiming for the stars. Exxaro, Spur, Octodec and WBHO all had positive stories. Curro is suffering with a slow and steady decline in numbers.

Exxaro announced a large manganese acquisition. Santam's momentum continues. Altron had a great year. Bytes grew strongly but has flagged slower growth ahead. Grindrod is out of its last non-core asset. BHP and South32 released useful conference presentations.

Gold Fields has made a play for Gold Road. Anglo American is still getting the Peabody deal across the line. Astral Foods had a really tough period. Harmony Gold is sitting on a record cash pile.
