Ghost Bites (Aveng | British American Tobacco | Gemfields | RMB Holdings | Schroder European Real Estate | Stor-Age | Trematon)

Stor-Age raised capital at a premium to NAV. Gemfields looks brighter. Aveng won't be selling McConnell Dowell for now at least. British American Tobacco unlocked over R7 billion in cash. RMB Holdings received an expression of interest from Atterbury. Reality has hit at Trematon. Schroder European Real Estate is a struggle.

Ghost Bites (Araxi | Fortress Real Estate | Octodec | Tiger Brands | Vukile Property Fund)

Tiger Brands is executing a stunning turnaround. Fortress, Octodec and Vukile delivered interesting property updates. Araxi is hoping that investors will focus on normalised numbers.

Ghost Bites (Accelerate Property Fund | Sea Harvest | Spear REIT | Valterra Platinum)

It's all eyes on the second half at Valterra Platinum. Sea Harvest's numbers are even better than previously guided. Spear REIT announced another acquisition. Accelerate Property Fund received reasonable support for the rights offer.

Ghost Bites (Bytes Technology | Castleview | Goldrush | KAP – Sasol | Sun International)

Bytes Technology shed nearly a third of its value based on the AGM update. Sun International walks away from the Peermont deal. KAP is fighting with Sasol over ethylene supply. Goldrush responds to the noise around the National Lottery Licence. Castleview raises R200m.

Ghost Bites (Libstar | MAS | STADIO | Standard Bank)

Libstar's results aren't nearly as good as they might first appear. STADIO is growing strongly. Standard Bank is up, but needs better banking conditions. The games continue at MAS.

Ghost Bites (Assura – Primary Health Properties | Astoria | Gemfields | Powerfleet | Stor-Age | Vukile)

Vukile released strong numbers. Stor-Age's decreased payout ratio set a few hares running. Powerfleet needs profits, not just revenue growth. Look out for Assura - Primary Health, Astoria and Gemfields as well.

GHOST BITES (Anglo American | Choppies | Life Healthcare | Murray & Roberts | Renergen | Tharisa | Trematon)

Renergen scored an initial victory against Springbok Solar. Murray & Roberts is indeed a doughnut. Anglo's deal with Peabody is under fire. Life Healthcare has complex numbers. Tharisa's production came under pressure. Trematon's capital allocation looks off to me. Choppies is selling Choppies Zimbabwe.

GHOST BITES (African Rainbow Capital | Sirius Real Estate | Trematon)

The African Rainbow Capital offer is apparently fair to shareholders - after some mental gymnastics. Sirius Real Estate had a great year. Trematon's portfolio value keeps trending lower.
