Ghost Bites (Clientèle | Glencore | Merafe | MTN | Santova)

Dividend darling Clientèle wants to delist. Glencore is telling a bullish story after Q1, with MTN Nigeria also enjoying the current oil situation. Merafe should have an answer on the electricity tariffs by June. Santova clawed back a lot of lost ground in the second half of the year.

Ghost Bites (Anglo American | CMH | Kumba Iron Ore | Merafe)

CMH is a great example of how to overcome disruption. Anglo American is a mixed bag, with diamonds going from bad to worse. Kumba Iron Ore is doing well, but remains at the mercy of Transnet. Merafe's smelter operations were negligible in the latest quarter.

Ghost Bites (CMH | FirstRand | Purple Group)

FirstRand has suffered huge losses from the FCA's motor redress scheme in the UK. Combined Motor Holdings (CMH) continues to do well. Purple Group is also on a strong growth path.

Ghost Bites (CMH | Ethos Capital | HCI | Metair | SA Corporate Real Estate | Stefanutti Stocks | Valterra Platinum)

Metair's luck goes from bad to worse. Ethos Capital and HCI are busy with major deals, while Stefanutti Stocks has closed a disposal. SA Corporate Real Estate grew the distribution ahead of inflation. CMH repurchased over 7% of its shares. Valterra Platinum has an investment grade credit rating.

Ghost Bites (BHP | CMH | Goldrush | KAP | Labat | Richemont)

Richemont accelerated in the second quarter. CMH feels confident enough to do a large share buyback. BHP's court process regarding the disaster in Brazil is far from over. Goldrush is responding to market disruption. KAP has sold part of Unitrans.

Ghost Bites (Lesaka Technologies | Motus | Purple Group | SA Corporate Real Estate | Sappi | Sibanye-Stillwater | Transpaco | Truworths | Vodacom)

Lesaka Technologies off to a good start in FY26. Sappi is suffering great pain, but at least they acknowledge it - unlike Truworths. Purple Group is charging up the J-curve. Sibanye-Stillwater is loving life, while Motus is also adapting well. Vodacom Please Call Me looks to be around R540 million. We saw deal news at Transpaco and SA Corporate Real Estate as well.

Ghost Bites (Bytes Technology | CMH | Ninety One | Santova | Tharisa)

CMH has dropped its dividend in favour of massive share buybacks. Bytes Technology is desperate for a moat. Ninety One's AUM has grown considerably. Santova disappointed the market.

Ghost Bites (Boxer | CMH | Emira | HCI | MC Mining | PSG Financial Services | Vukile)

Boxer and Vukile show us where the growth is in South Africa, while Emira is struggling with its property portfolio. CMH has done a great job in a changing automotive environment. PSG Financial Services is going from strength to strength. HCI keeps jumping through hoops for SACTWU. MC Mining made a gross loss - not something you'll see very often!
