Ghost Bites (Bidcorp | British American Tobacco | Burstone | Invicta | Momentum | Santova | Telkom)

Telkom is brimming with confidence, while Bidcorp and British American Tobacco are executing on their global business strategies. Invicta had a flat period, with Burstone also not giving investors much to get excited about. Santova is a good business in a tough environment. Momentum's capital markets day makes for good reading.

Ghost Bites (Copper 360 | Merafe | Momentum | Pan African Resources | Sirius Real Estate | Tiger Brands)

Tiger Brands put in an exceptional margin performance. Sirius Real Estate had a busy period of deals. Pan African Resources had a record year of cash flow, but the market hated the guidance. Momentum is still living up to its name. NERSA has thrown Merafe a lifeline. Copper 360 finds no love in the market.

Ghost Bites (Bell Equipment | MAS | Sirius Real Estate)

Bell Equipment had a tough year, but they've emerged with a stronger balance sheet. Sirius Real Estate has executed another deal in the German defence strategy. MAS shareholders jumped at the PK Investments bid.

Ghost Bites (CA Sales | Exemplar REITail | Gemfields | Standard Bank | Trematon | York Timber)

CA Sales somehow grew profits in Botswana. Standard Bank's capital markets day has encouraging targets. Exemplar REITail is another fast-growing property fund. Gemfields and York Timber both find themselves in tough times. Trematon is selling Club Mykonos Langebaan to a CEO-led consortium.

Ghost Bites (ADvTECH | Fairvest | Heriot REIT | Hulamin | Oceana | PSG Financial Services | Thungela | Vukile Property Fund)

ADvTECH's education business is doing well. Fairvest, Heriot REIT and Vukile Property Fund demonstrate the strength of our REITs. PSG Financial Services just keeps growing. Oceana is a mixed bag. Hulamin and Thungela are tough stories.

Ghost Bites (Aspen | Exxaro | Investec | Momentum | Schroder European Real Estate)

Aspen has released the APAC deal circular. Exxaro's dividend is much higher. Investec's UK business is lagging. Momentum is largely positive. Schroder European Real Estate remains unappealing to me.

Ghost Bites (CMH | Ethos Capital | HCI | Metair | SA Corporate Real Estate | Stefanutti Stocks | Valterra Platinum)

Metair's luck goes from bad to worse. Ethos Capital and HCI are busy with major deals, while Stefanutti Stocks has closed a disposal. SA Corporate Real Estate grew the distribution ahead of inflation. CMH repurchased over 7% of its shares. Valterra Platinum has an investment grade credit rating.

Ghost Bites (Araxi | Equites Property Fund | Exxaro | FirstRand | Merafe | Resilient | Shaftesbury | Sibanye-Stillwater)

Equites raised over R700 million. Sibanye locked in a gold wage deal. Exxaro is running slightly behind guidance. FirstRand's UK hangover continues, but the rest looks good. Resilient expects double-digit growth. Araxi's Software business remains a problem. Merafe is putting two smelters on care and maintenance. Shaftesbury's London West End portfolio is strong.
